​A 45 minute low impact fat burning class designed to tone the whole body and improve balance, core strength and flexibility without jumping.
Ideal for people who want a great workout but need to avoid high impact.

​A fun aerobics class with lots of strengthening, toning and balance exercises tailored to the over 50s.  The class includes stretching to enhance flexibility.
All moves are low to medium impact with no jumping.
Great routines for supple fit bodies!

​We are one of the only Wall Pilates classes in the area!
The class involves performing the original Pilates exercises and stretches, with the support of the wall.  The wall helps with form and posture but also acts as resistance.  You'll be amazed what you can do!,  it can also help when you need extra support for your back.  Can help reduce back pain.

​A class that is designed to improve mobility, flexibility, strength and balance and reduce pain.  You will finish the class feeling fantastic.  A fusion of yoga, Pilates and mobility moves. Slow, controlled moves to ease the body out of stiffness. 

This class makes you feel amazing! You must be able to put weight on your hands to do this class.

​A fun 45 minute low impact full body toning class using equipment.  A varied workout that is suitable for all levels.  Get super toned while reducing the risk of injury.

You will definitely feel the burn!  This is the modern version of legs, bums and tums.

Boxercise

​This is a 1 hour class based on simple boxing techniques.  You will learn how to punch safely and effectively.  You will work the body and mind, learning combinations and exercising the whole body. Boxercise is non-contact, so although we will be simulating boxing moves, the only things you will hit are focus pads!  You will work up a sweat with various cardio exercises, games and drills.

Not suitable for anyone with shoulder, neck, back. hip or knee injuries.

​We have a variety of different Pilates classes available here at UKGetActive.  We adopt a very holisitic approach and adapt the class plans to suit the attendees, so that everyone gets the most from the class.  Our Pilates classes are perfect for improving core strength and posture, toning the body and improving balance and flexibility.  We also focus a lot of the class on addressing muscle imbalances, to help reduce pain and stiffness.  There are small group classes and larger group classes available and specialist classes for back pain and arthritis.

The Pilates for arthritis class is chair based.

​GetFitPilates is a 45 minute Low Impact workout.  This class is based on the principles of Pilates. Weights, bands and bodyweight exercises are used for resistance.  Each interval is 45 seconds, with a 20 second break.  If you like the idea of GetPumped, Pilates and GetToned combined, then this is for you.  ​A full body workout designed to burn fat, get you fit, super toned, and improve your balance, strength, posture and flexibility.
